Privacy Policy

This privacy policy briefly describes a brief summary of our position with regards to personal information we collect about you, if any, and how it may be used, if at all. This policy may change at any time without prior notice and it is up to you to be up to date of any changes.

Information Collection

In Our Offices

All records, correspondence and communication on a patient is protected in our office. NO release of patient information will occur without written consent from patient or legal guardian. Our offices are in strict compliance of the Government Privacy Act.

On The Internet

All web servers track basic information about each visit. This usually applies to all websites and information includes but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser software details, time of visit, resources requested and referring pages. None of this information can personally identify any specific visitors to this site. This information is provided by machines for routine administration and maintenance purposes and is a common practice by the authors of web browsers and web servers across all web sites.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Only used where necessary, cookies store information about a visitor's preferences and history in order to better serve the visitor and/or present the visitor with customized content.  We do not use these in most instances for booking of appointments.

Email Addresses

In some cases we may ask for your email address voluntarily such as to sign up for our email list, register as a new patient or request an online appointment. Email addresses are never shared with advertisers or anyone else.  We don't send spam email and we don't purchase, give or sell email addresses.  We use the very strict double opt-in policy which requires a person to sign up for our list on-line as well as respond to a confirmation email from their email address to verify they indeed have ultimate control of the requesting address. This is for our protection as well as yours.

Modifying Your Privacy

You can change your browser settings to disable cookies if you have privacy concerns. Disabling cookies for all sites is not recommended as it will interfere with your use of the majority of sites on the Internet and prevent you from logging in to your webmail. The best option is to disable or enable cookies on a per-site basis if you have concerns. Consult your browser documentation for instructions on how to block cookies and other tracking mechanisms.
